Description

The result of almost 6 days of work, Lots of work, effort and semi-sleepless nights were poured into this project, references were used for various things, such as the equipment and weather condition. (That's more or less how my neighborhood looks now when I take walks outside!) The background is a tad messy but I can't be bothered anymore. '~'

From left to right: MCpl. David Evanson, the gunner, Sgt. Véronique Tremblay, the commander, Tpr. Sonia langley, the loader and finally Tpr. Patrick Gagnon, the driver.

Big thanks to
:iconthe-ghost-of-razgriz: for his help on the dirt and oil stains
:iconjarvy-ca: for his help with CF equipment and gear in general

As well as most of the folks who hanged around my stream for general tricks and tips! :D

You can interpret it as the updated version of this 1 year+ old drawing!

Same 'ole Leopard 2 (2A4M/2A6M) vehicle crew from the Lord Strathcona's Horse Regiment (Royal Canadians), that may I have, perhaps, neglected for a while. That was the first time where I tried to design characters seriously. Still a big WIP though. *.*

Excellent work man! I love how you brought the desolate, brutal and misery filled look of Wainwright to life. I can feel the shivers of doing midnight OPs near Blue Route just by looking at it.

Just an FYI:
Mcpls are not typically assigned to the tank as gunners. They are almost always crew commanders in the Canadian Army and Sgts are merely senior Mcpls that are promoted by seniority in the tank world. If there is a Mcpl that is acting lacking (has the rank but not the required course in this case Crew Commander) they are often put in the loaders role because of their access to the comms system as well as their role of being the commander's note taker and secondary map reader when they are not loading.
